Well you've seen my family, now a little bit about me....
I'm a 42 yr. old "kid at heart". I love Himmies and Persians. I also play the guitar and sing ( fairly well, so I'm told. )anything folk or country and in-between! I particularily love John Prine's music, because it's down-to-earth songs about ordinary people just living their lives.
Besides staying at home for the last seven years to raise my children,I also run a home daycare called "L'il Dumplin's". It was very hard when I first started, after being in the business world for nearly twenty years.
I've run the daycare out of my home for seven years now, and I think I finally have a handle on it! Since I got organized and made contracts and policy statements, things have certainly run alot smoother. Thank goodness for the internet, as I've gathered tons of useful info. here. One of my favourite sources is the newsgroup alt. childcare. Great people with years of knowledge and experience post there.
I also run a custom windowcoverings business with my husband. We sell blinds, custom drapery and shutters, both California and my favourite, Plantation.
