Here is the car that took us the 2400 miles that we drove this year while on vacation. It proved to be a really nice one.
Our first stop today was to check out a little of the naval yards here. There unfortunately was not a lot to see from the shore, but it was interesting.
Then it was up the shoreline a little ways to see Torrey Pines, and Black's Beach. We spent a hour or so on the beach, then back up to the LA area.
We stopped at the fashion mall and watched the kids playing in the fountains, and I had to show debbie the heaters that they use at the restaurants so they can keep warm during their cold waves.
We stopped at disneyland one last time so that we could see the Fantasmic show. Then it was off to our flight home.
Here is Las Vegas at night as we came in for a stopover. And here is our approach to the Twin Cities the next morning (about 6am)
