Every Hotel here in Las Vegas seems to be trying to outdo the others. There is every style of building from the mundane to the unusual. Here is one of the most different in shape.
Once out of the city, we ended up taking desert roads back to the Los Angeles area (we couldn't find the Dairy Queen). The roads seemed to go on forever!
And Ever!
We stopped and checked out the Joshua trees. A bit of warning here. The "leaves" on the Joshua trees are actually quite sharp and stiff (as my head discovered). Be aware!
Here is the pier and beach at Hueneme, CA at the close of our day. It was quite beautiful!
