Here is a view out over the ocean from the top of the cliffs over the beach that I frequent in
Newport Beach. In the distance one of the many sail boats that are berthed in the Newport
Beach Harbor (quite a large harbor in the way of recreational boating I must say). Would you
believe that there is even a Boy Scout troop located on the harbor (with their own multi masted
sailing ship as a training ship)!
The beach is a natural gathering spot for people and is especially beautiful as sunset nears (I've
never managed to get up early enough to enjoy a sunrise). This shot reminds me of the the
poem "Footsteps", which I enjoy.
Here is Debbie stepping off the plane into the LAX terminal. Fortunately she did not have the
problems that I did on my flight out. It was a pretty late flight for here though. Because of the
work demands at Floyd Security and the fact
that was attending work conferences here most of the day we decided that she would stay and
work till the end of the day on Thursday then come out to meet me. She arrived around 11pm
Pacific, but that would have been 1am to her. I got her back to the Hotel and showed her around
a little since we would be leaving the next morning, then got to sleep.
