Wow! Disneyland is just full of sights and sounds (and crowds). Here are just a couple to wet your
appetite.
This is from then end of Main Street as you enter the park entertainment areas. It is
dedicated to the man who started it all - Walt Disney. His dream of a place where the entire family
could go and enjoy themselves is wonderfully created here:
Matterhorn Mountain, near center of the park is a point where your eyes are drawn from nearly point
in the park. They use the top of the mountain for various entertainment events including tinkerbell's
flight to start the nightly fireworks and Goofy periodically climbs it:
One of the exciting rides contained in the park. This ride's premise is that you are taking a shuttle
from one space station to another location and your rookie pilot (a robot) on his first real flight gets
you involved in a small incident. Make sure that you try this one out. Star Tours:
As an end to the night they had a "Main Street Electrical Parade", then a fantastic fireworks display.
Unfortunately 1996 was to be the last year for the Electrical parade. They are slated to come out with
a different event to replace it. As someone who has only seen it once, I'll already miss it!
