JABEZ J. COULSON was postmaster at Wright, Lincoln County, Oklahoma. He moved from Appanoose County, Iowa, on October 15, 1897.

SAMUEL COULSON was born April 3, 1841. He married on April 14, 1864, to , who died September 30, 1894. Samuel Coulson was living at Jerome, Appanose County, Iowa, ca. 1901.

THEODORE M. COULSON was born February 7, 1851. He married January 18, 1883, to MARY A. COUND, referred to as "an English lady" by Henry J. Coulson.

• HERBERT M. COULSON, born August 16, 1888.

Henry J. Coulson published the following regarding Theodore M. Coulson, with whom he corresponded:

T. M. Coulson was engaged in the drug business in Mansfield, Texas, until Dec. 1879 when he went to Archer County, Texas and engaged in the stock business; in 1882 he was elected Sheriff of Archer county, filled that office four years and was not a candidate for re-election. A few years later he was elected County commissioner, his third term expires November 1900.

Thedore had also at one point tried looking into the family tree, with little success. He advised Henry:

There is a family of Coulsons in Colman City, Coleman County, Texas, also at San Antonio, Corsicana, Dallas & Fort Worth, Texas. There was a family of Coulsons in Henrietta, Texas, I was to see them several years ago, they would not give me any information.

I wrote to B. V. Coulson of Natchez, Mississippi, in 1878, who answered me stating that he had informed all he had written to on the subject, that he was seeking not giving information, so that ended our correspondence. So I quit trying to trace the Coulsons except when I met a man by the name.



ELIZA ANN PAXSON was born March 15, 1834, and died November 6, 1896, at the age of sixty-two. She married on September 30, 1852, to ISAAC MASSEY.

ELIZA ANN PAXSON and ISAAC MASSEY were the parents of the following children:

• WILLIAM MASSEY, born April 7, 1855; died June 20, 1855, at the age of two months.
