Henry J. Coulson reported the following regarding the family of Alfred George Coulson:

The unmarried children of Alfred G. Coulson live with him at Womer, Smith County, Kansas. The height of the children of this family ranges from five feet 10 inches to six feet; their weight from 150 to 180 pounds. The father stands six feet in his stockings and weighs 180 pounds. Alfred G. Coulson lived with his grandmother Coulson [Fanny Maxwell Coulson] until she died excepting three years that he lived with his father after his [father's] second marriage. They moved to Illinois where the father [Ulysses] died in 1868.

SARAH JANE COULSON was born December 24, 1832. She married CALEB PALMER of Fayette County, Iowa. They were living in West Union, Fayette County, Iowa, ca. 1901.

SARAH JANE COULSON and CALEB PALMER were the parents of the following children:

• JOHN PALMER.

• ALLEN PALMER.

ELENORA COULSON was born in 1834 and died November 28, 1878, at approximately forty-four years of age. She is buried at Cochranton, Pennsylvania. She married JOSEPH NELSON of Mercer County, Pennsylvania.

• KITTIE COULSON, born November 25, 1878; died June 20, 1894, at the age of fifteen; buried at Cochranton, Pennsylvania.

Henry J. Coulson reported that one of the daughters, nicknamed "Nora," married CHARLEY CLARK on September 4, 18__ (undecipherable). He died in May of 1895 and is buried at Colorado Springs, Colorado. Their daughter, HAZEL PERL CLARK, was born October 28, 1891. Could this be Anna Elenora, named for her aunt?

WILLIAM W. COULSON was born February 10, 1840. He married in Missouri to CLARA RANNELLS of Guernsey County, Ohio.

WILLIAM W. COULSON and CLARA RANNELLS were the parents of the following children:

• FANNY COULSON, born September 22, 1860.

• IDA M. COULSON, born September 14, 1862, at Boulder, Colorado; married GEORGE GOODMAN of Durango, Colorado; one child in 1899.

• GRACE M. COULSON, born in March of 1864 at Boulder, Colorado; married FRED C. ARMSTRONG, Longmont, Colorado; no children in 1899.

• JUAN CARLOS COULSON, born in April of 1866 at Boulder, Colorado.

• VICTOR L. COULSON, born in August of 1869 at Boulder, Colorado; unmarried and living in Boulder in 1897; he was a railroad engineer who said he was "married to his engine."

• HERMAN F. COULSON, born in June of 1871, at Boulder, Colorado; married in 1897 to UNKNOWN UNKNOWN.

• NORA J. COULSON, born November 15, 1875, at Boulder, Colorado; unmarried and teaching in school in Durango, Colorado, in 1897.

MARY ANN COULSON was born November 21, 1833. She married on April 5, 1860, to THOMPSON RANDOLPH who was born November 10, 1833.

MARY ANN COULSON and THOMPSON RANDOLPH were the parents of the following children:

• CLARENCE COULSON RANDOLPH, born March 4, 1861.

• CLEMENCE REEDER, born May 24, 1863; married August 18, 1894, to EMMA BELAT who was born October 17, 1875; residing in New Garden, Ohio, ca. 1901.

• MARY REEDER, born June 26, 1870.

ENOS REEDER was born July 28, 1830. He married on September 26, 1861, to EMELINE BETTIS who was born April 13, 1842. They were living at East Rochester, Ohio, in 1901.

ENOS REEDER and EMELINE BETTIS were the parents of the following children:

• LAWRENCE REEDER, born July 19, 1862; married September 5, 1886, to ANNIE COLWELL; living in Cleveland, Ohio, ca. 1901.

• SEYMOUR REEDER, born March 12, 1864; died December 21, 1896, at the age of thirty-two; married December 24, 1891, to LILLIE V. SUMMERS; they lived in East Rochester, Ohio, circa 1901.

• ELLIOTT REEDER, born September 4, 1868.

• OLIVE REEDER, born October 17, 1872; married September 8, 1894, to ALBERT NEAL.

ANNA G. REEDER was born May 5, 1833, and died May 29, 1875, at the age of forty-two. She married in 1954 to JOHN SMITH.

ANNA G. REEDER and JOHN SMITH were the parents of the following children:

• AUSTIN F. SMITH, born January 28, 1855; died March 28, 1878, at the age of twenty-three.

• TAMAR E. SMITH, born April 26, 1856; died April 28, 1877, at the age of twenty-one.

• LAURANCE AMBROSE SMITH, born September 30, 1860; died March 13, 1880, at the age of nineteen.

• EVA SMITH, born about 1875; died about 1885 at approximately ten years of age.

Henry J. Coulson published the following obituary for Anna G. Reeder Smith, although he does not recite from what publication it was obtained:

Sister Anna Smith, wife of John Smith, died May 29, 1875, of consumption, aged 42 years, after a lingering illness of many weeks, which she bore with Christian fortitude and resignation, having strong faith in her Saviour. She often spoke freely of her hope of a home in Heaven. She was a woman of the strictest Christian character, having made a profession of religion some seven years ago and joined the Christian Church at New Alexandria, under the preaching of Elder Hyde. She died as she had lived, a strong believer in the Lord and his holy word. May our sympathy be with those left behind.

VILEY REEDER was born November 11, 1836, and died November 20, 1875, at the age of thirty-nine. She married EDWARD WICKERSHAM.

VILEY REEDER and EDWARD WICKERSHAM were the parents of the following children:

• ERNEST WICKERSHAM, born July 4, 1864; died June 30, 1889, shortly before his twenty-fifth birthday.

• MILAN WICKERSHAM, born April 4, 1868; married UNKNOWN NEWCOMER.

• MAURICE WICKERSHAM, born May 26, 1872; married UNKNOWN SHIVELY.

WILLIAM WILLETT COULSON was born June 16, 1848. He married on July 28, 1874, to ELIZA JANE HOLT who was born September 20, 1852. They lived in Grafton, Wisconsin, in 1901.

WILLIAM WILLETT COULSON and ELIZA JANE HOLT were the parents of the following children:

• HERVEY CLARK COULSON, born April 26, 1876.

• EDGAR HYMAN COULSON, born March 20, 1878.
