SAMUEL DAVENPORT was born June 14, 1828, in Woodsfield, Ohio, and died December 18, 1879, in Blufftown, Indiana, at the age of fifty-one. He was buried December 21, 1879, at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton. He married June 17, 1850, in Beallsville, Ohio, to CAROLINE GRATIGNY (daughter of LOUIS FRANCOIS GRATIGNY (1795-1872) and DESDAMONIA SARAH FORD
(1799-1875) who was born March 26, 1833 in Beallsville, Monroe County, Ohio, and died June 5, 1913, at Van Wert, Ohio. She is buried at Fariveiw Cemetery, Bluffton, Indiana.

parents of the following children:
ISABELLE McCLENATHAN was born July 9, 1801, in Washington County,
Pennsylvania, and died March 15 or 21, 1873, in Washington County, Pennsylvania, at the age of seventy-one. She married on November 10, 1831, in Washington County, Pennsylvania, to JOHN TUCKER who was born May 23, 1803, and died March 23, 1875, at the age of seventy-one.

February 25, 1811, and died June 26, 1885, at the age of seventy-four.

MILTON COULSON was born May 8, 1807, and died November 24, 1860,
near Mason, Warren County, Ohio, at the age of fifty-three. He married on October 10, 1844, to SARAH LEFEVRE. Henry Coulson reported that Sarah's mother was MARY JACKSON LEFEVRE of
Frederick County, Maryland, and that Sarah's ancestors, the Popes and Lefevres, were Huguenots who left France because of religious persecution.
