THOMAS FULTON SIDWELL was born January 1, 1820. He married on March 23, 1848, to REBECCA J. OLDFIELD, who was born September 1, 1829.

The following obituary is from The Midland Journal, Rising Sun, Maryland, of January 14, 1898:

Death of THOMAS FULTON SIDWELL

Thomas Fulton Sidwell, residing near Theodore, this county, died on Friday night, January 8th, aged 78. The funeral was held on Tuesday, interment at West Nottingham Friends' Burying Ground.

Another obituary appeared in The Oxford Press of Janaury 13, 1898:

Thomas Fulton Sidwell died at his home near Theodore, Cecil county, Maryland, on Friday last, in his 78th year. He was a farmer, removing from near the "Red Pump" on the Maryland side of the State Line, close to the border of West Nottingham, Chester county, in 1868, and purchased the farm on which he resided until his death.

He leaves a wife and six children, all married and living, with their wives, husbands and children, 23 grand-children and 3 great-grandchildren of the deceased. The children were four sons and two daughters and their marriages took place according to their ages, the oldest first: Nathan of Hickory Hill, Chester county; Oliver, near Theodore, Md., Job at Sylmar; Anna (Craig), Calvert, Md.; Benjamin W., Chester, Pa., and Lavinia (Holland) at home. Thomas F. Sidwell was a son of Nathan Sidwell of Red Pump.

MARGARET SIDWELL

MARGARET SIDWELL was born November 11, 1825, and died July 9, 1888, at the age of sixty-two. She married JAMES WALLS.

SARAH COULSON

SARAH COULSON was born March 14, 1833. She married in October of 1859 to ENOS THOMPSON. Enos died while serving in the Army and Sarah was drawing a pension in 1897.

SAMUEL COULSON

SAMUEL COULSON was born February 14, 1835, and died while serving in the Confederate Army in 1864 at approximately twenty- nine years of age. He married JANE HAYS. After his death, his widow then married A. J. PHILLIPS and moved to Arkansas.

ELIZABETH COULSON

ELIZABETH COULSON was born July 29, 1837. She married on April 24, 1859, in Maltzberger, Greene County, Tennessee, to WILLIAM WHITE.

ELIZABETH COULSON and WILLIAM WHITE were the parents of the following children:

NANCY ANN COULSON was born in 1843. She married WILLIAM SHEFFIELD. They were the parents of the following children:

ELIJAH COULSON was born in 1850. He married in 1879 to EMMA BOWMAN. They were the parents of the following children:

BENJAMIN COPPOCK

BENJAMIN COPPOCK, (Esquire) was born September 15, 1832, at Miami County, Ohio. He died January 28, 1912, at Lewis Township, Clay County, Indiana, at the age of seventy-nine. He is buried at Saunders Cemetery, Clay County, Indiana. He married first on November 25, 1853, in Clay County, Indiana, to ZERESH PUCKETT (daughter of ELIHU PUCKETT and REBECCA HUGHES) who was born in 1831 in Shelby County, Illinois, and died February 27, 1873, at the approximate age of forty-two.

JOSEPH COPPOCK

JOSEPH COPPOCK was born February 7, 1805, at Bush River Monthly Meeting, Newberry County, South Carolina, and died February 2, 1862, at Ludlow Falls, Miami County, Ohio, shortly before his fifty-seventh birthday. He was married August 10, 1825, at Union Monthly Meeting, Miami County, Ohio, to RACHEL HOLLINGSWORTH (daughter of HENRY HOLLINGSWORTH and SARAH COOK) who was born November 30, 1808, at Worth, Perry County, Ohio, and died September 17, 1892, at Ludlow Falls, Miami County, Ohio, at the age of seventy-three.

JOSEPH COPPOCK and RACHEL HOLLINGSWORTH were the parents of the following children:

SAMUEL COPPOCK

SAMUEL COPPOCK was born in 1818 and died in 1841 at Salem, Columbiana County, Ohio. He married ANN UNKNOWN.

SAMUEL COPPOCK and ANN UNKNOWN were the parents of the following children:

Edwin and Barclay Coppock were two of John Brown's raiders. Edwin was captured and hanged for his part in the rebellion. Barclay escaped but died during the Civil War. He was on a train crossing a bridge on the Platte River when the bridge collapsed.

MARY COPPOCK

MARY COPPOCK was born March 23, 1812, at New Garden Monthly Meeting, Columbiana County, Ohio, and died April 14, 1876, at Coal Creek Meeting, What Cheer, Keokuk County, Iowa, at the age of Meet sixty-four. She married on August 8, 1833, at New Garden Monthly Meeting, Columbiana County, Ohio, to THOMAS EMMONS (son of THOMAS EMMONS and MARY DAVIS) who was born November 9, 1810, at New Garden Monthly Meeting, Columbiana County, Ohio, and died April 12, 1888, at Coal Creek Meeting, What Cheer, Keokuk County, Iowa, at the age of seventy-seven.

MARY COPPOCK and THOMAS EMMONS were the parents of the following child:
