JAMES McREYNOLDS was born in 1774 at Caswell County, North Carolina, and died in 1839 in Putnam County, Indiana, at approximately sixty-five years of age. He married on July 26, 1796, in Washington County, Virginia, to SUSANNAH ANDERSON who was born about 1776 in Washington County, Virginia, and died in Putnam County, Indianna.

JOSEPH RICH was born April 16, 1786, in Cecil, Washington County, Pennsylvania; and died July 23, 1866, at Paris, Bear Lake, Idaho. He married on June 23, 1808, in Boone County, Kentucky, to NANCY O`NEAL (daughter of CHARLES JAMES O'NEAL and JANET [JANE] SHAW) who was born April 24, 1782, in Boone County, Kentucky, and died October 5, 1847, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, at the age of sixty-five.
JOSEPH RICH and NANCY O'NEAL were the parents of the following children:
JOSEPH RICH married second HARRIET EDWARDS.
JOSEPH RICH married third ELIZABETH HOWARD.

WILLIAM COULSON was born February 13, 1785, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He married LYDIA ROGERS. They emigrated to Barnesville, Ohio.

MARTHA COULSON was born July 30, 1788, in Cecil County, Maryland, and died February 12, 1868, at Woodsfield, Ohio, at the age of sixty-nine. She is buried at Barnesville, Ohio. She married on March 30 or 31, 1808, to JOHN DAVENPORT (son of JOHN DAVENPORT and ELENOR HARRIS) of Winchester, Virginia, who was born January 9, 1788, at Jefferson County, [West] Virginia, and died July 18, 1855, at Woodsfield, Ohio, at the age of sixty- seven. He is buried at Barnesville, Ohio.
MARTHA COULSON and JOHN DAVENPORT were the parents of the following children:

MARY COULSON was born September 14, 1793, and died in 1873 or 1893 at Cleveland, Ohio. She married on April 3, 1817, to JOHN A. ROE.

WILLIAM COULSON was born July 20, 1782, at Washington County, Pennsylvania, and died December 18, 1866, near Mason, Warren County, Ohio, at the age of eighty-four. He is buried at Mason, Warren County, Ohio. He married in Washington County, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, June 3, 1806, to MARY McFARLAND who was born November 25, 1787, and died March 21, 1875, at the age of eighty-seven. She is also buried at Mason, Warren County, Ohio.

JOHN COULSON was born August 5, 1784, and died October 23, 1854, in Washington County, Pennsylvania, at the age of seventy. He married on January 15, 1812, at Washington County, Pennsylvania, to SARAH MUSTARD who died June 23, 1840.

SARAH COULSON was born July 15, 1786, and died July 24, 1846, at Rosby's Rock, [West] Virginia, at the age of sixty. She married on November 10, 1800, at Washington County, Pennsylvania, to WILLIAM McGARY.

DAVID COULSON was born October 7, 1794, and died November 24, 1863, at the age of sixty-nine. He married on April 20, 1814, to ELIZABETH REEDER who was born May 2, 1786, and died April 26, 1841, at the age of fifty-four.
DAVID COULSON and ELIZABETH REEDER were the parents of the following children:
DAVID COULSON married second to LYDIA PIM who was born August 21, 1811, and died March 9, 1843. He married third MARGARET CHAMBERS. There were no children of either marriage.

JABEZ COULSON was born January 17, 1797, in Brownsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, and died February 14, 1896, in Columbiana County, Ohio, at the age of ninety-nine. He married first on December 31, 1818, to SARAH PIM who was born June 23, 1783, and died July 31, 1850, at the age of sixty-seven.
JABEZ COULSON and SARAH PIM were the parents of the following children:
JABEZ COULSON married a second time on January 1, 1852, to ABIGAIL REGISTER who was born on September 9, 1810.

Jabez Coulson, son of Jehu and Jane Coulson, was born in Brownsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, the 17th of 1st month, 1797. In the spring of 1811 he moved with his parents to Columbiana County, Ohio, then a wilderness, where he lived with the exception of a short time, the rest of his life.The 31st of 12th month, 1818, he married Sarah Pim, a widow with six children; she being over 13 years older than he. They had four children: Rachel; Joseph; Benjamin; and Pim. Pim died when about two years old. He brought up the rest of the children and one of his nephews, Jesse Coulson, and kept his parents the last ten years of their lives.
His first wife died the 31st of of the 7th month, 1850, aged 65 years. They had lived together over 42 years. The 1st of 1st month 1852 he married Abigail Regester, she being more than 13 yrs. younger than he. They had one son, John. They lived together 34 years.
His daughter and five of his step children died before him. He had gradually been going down with no particular disease for about 14 years, but could go about till the last year or two. He was very patient; was never heard to wish to be diferent from what he was. He quietly passed away on the 14. of 2nd mo., 1886, aged 89 years and 27 days. He was a member of the Society of Friends all his life. He was an affectionate husband, a kind father, a sympathizing friend.
We feel his loss, but believe that our loss was his gain.
