MFIP: The will of John Washbourne senr dated 30 Oct. 1686, exhibited 8 June 1687, names wife Elizabeth Washbourne (the widow Packard) ; brother Philip Washbourne; sons John, Thomas, Joseph, Samuel, Jonathan, Benjamin, James, Mary, Elizabeth, Jane and Sarah.
Wood, MF5G:12: Died after 1 November 1681 and before 5 December 1684. John Washburn remarries Elizabeth Packard after November, 1684 and the date of his death, 1686, thus Elizabeth Mitchell dies prior. Parents: Experience (1) MITCHELL and Jane COOKE.

John late in life married the widow Elizabeth Packard. All of his children were by Elizabeth Mitchell. His latter marriage ended in his death within a year or so.
