The Contest of the Month (December - January)Name that kitty! As the first contest on this site, find out how well you know the kitties of Threecats and Catfancy. Since this is the first contest of Violet's place, I'm extending it to January 1999. Name the five kitties, and their respective humans, and e-mail the answers to me.The Feline Fun award goes to the highest score, or the first perfect answer. The Golden Paw (a prizelet *grin*) will be awarded to the first entry. Oh, and the humans of these cats aren't allowed to join. Sorry! Hint: visit the pages in the Links Page.

Since I added this new feature on December 31, this will also be my painting of the month for January. Of course, on February I'll put up a new painting (which I still have to do *smile*).

If you'd like to link to Violet's Place (please do!), you may use the following banner I've been thinking of doing a frames version of Violet's Place, and I'll probably have it done by January... if not January, then April. I am also going to try changing the background of my pages, using Peaches & Cream's pictures -- hopefully I'll have it done by January... but if not, I'll only be able to do it by April (another vacation. I can't spend a lot of time updating the site during schooldays.). Every month, I'll also update the Contest of the Month, so watch for changes as the site grows (and its webmistress gets better with HTML).
