| One of my passions is to sew. I love the feel of the material and creating something beautiful from it. Mind you, I do not like to mend or alter clothing. I like to start from scratch. No job is too difficult. It is those simple things that are asked of me that I tend to shy away from. Such as: "Could you make some pillows for my sofa?" It doesn't take too much imagination for someone who has been sewing for as long as I have. Besides, there is no challenge. I love to find something that is attractive to look at but complicated to make. So - I'm weird. But I've done pretty well and I love it. I'm the same way with all things I like to do. I may do the first project using a simple pattern just to get the hang of it. But after that watch out. I'm off and there's no stopping me. Sort of like how I got into HTML. :o) And just think, I'm not finished yet. :o) |
