THE LONELY PRAYER
A young man sat with paper and pen
To write of things that troubled him
Pen to paper his words did start
Poetry flowed from his saddened heart
He thought of love in life
It's rare
He then began this lonely prayer
Dear lord forgive this world we know not that we sin
As we ignore your words time and time again
We worship false gods
In time the pages have worn
We neglect the poor and kill the unborn
Welfare rewards our laziness
And all power has been abused
We pollute the air with profanity ,pornography,and news
If one man could change this lord I would surly try
I PROMISE I WILL FOLLOW YOU
As a tear drop left his eye
