Sneeky, Peeky, and Boo
Lived with an Aunt
in Kalamazoo.
People all around
would hear the names
of Auntie's sweethearts
Sneeky, Peeky, and Boo.
Laughter would break out
someone would shout
Do you sneak Sneeky?
Do you peek ,Peeky?
What of you silly Boo?
"go ahead and laugh", said Auntie.
Not one of you have different names
Like sneeky, Peeky, and Boo
These names are special, and will be remembered
no matter where these children are
at church, school, or mall.
If your first name is called
in a shopping mall.
All you Mary's and Bill's
would go running at once
to answer the call.
You would line up
take your turn and hope
that you were the one called.
Stand Up, Stand tall
no waiting in line
for Sneeky, Peeky, and Boo.
I know of no names like these at all.
