[NI2891] Anderson had a land grant for 1000 acres in 1839 on the waters of Headly and Lones Branch. Seaton's high Top is named for him also. In November of 1849 he purchased 3 tracts of 1,218 acres also on Lone Branch from Asa Derrick. The land extended from Middle Creek to what is now known as the Jay Ell community. One document lists his name as Jacob Anderson Seaton.
[NI2896] James owned part of anderson Seaton's property, and had a resort called Seaton Springs. He was a pastor of the McCarter Chapel, Sugarlands, Sevier Co, TN.
[NI2899] George taught school at Cades Cove for many years.
