[NI9304] The first record of him is in Dorchester, MA, where he received land with others in 1634 and 1635. Became a freeman 9 Mar 1637. In 1639 he removed with a colony from Dorchester and Watertown to Connecticut and settled in Milford, New Haven Colony. Will dated 20 Sep 1681.
[NI9302] Ezekiel settled in Fairfield, CT before 1660. He was made Freeman there in 1669. He was a tanner, and a large land owner for his time. He divided the greater part of his lands among his children during his lifetime. At his death his estate amounted to £356.
[NI6650] Samuel received the homestead by his father's will. He was posted for Freeman in 1669. Joined First Church of Milford, 5 Nov 1669. He was a man of some prominence and standing in the town. His father made him executor of his will. The inventory of his estate was taken 8 Dec 1691, and names widow Hannah, children Hannah, Samuel, Sarah, Mary and Thomas.
[NI4072] Freeman in New Haven, CT in 1669. Allotted land in 1680. His lots fell on the east side of East River, in what was first called North Farms, afterward Parish of North Haven, and in 1786 became the town of North Haven. On 18 Nov 1679, William Paine of New Haven deeded to his son-in-law, Thomas Sanford of New Haven, "as part portion of my daughter Elizabeth, the house and home lot he now lives on."
