[NI2040] Arrived in New England on the ship "Lyon", under Capt. Pierce, on 16 Sep 1632 with his two sons, Nicholas and Nehemiah, two nephews, Richard and John, and niece, Rebecca. They settled first at Mount Wallaston, now Quincy, near Boston. Freeman, MA, 6 Nov 1632. Within a year they moved to Newtown, now Cambridge. Constable, 1634-5. In June 1636 they moved to Hartford, CT. He was one of the original proprietors of Hartford. He received 70 acres in the distribution. Will dated 28 Sep 1640, inventory taken Nov 1640.
[NI1760] Came to New England on the ship "Lyon" in 1632. Nicholas served in the Pequot War, 1637, under Capt. Mason, for which he received grants of land. Surveyor of highways, 1647; townsman, 1654, 1658, 1667; list and rate maker, 1669; freeman, 1669; deputy, 1672-3; Lt., 1673; townsman, 1671, 1679, 1683; appointed Capt. of a company sent to New London in 1675; was in active service in King Philip's War.
[NI2046] Came to New England on the ship "Lyon" in 1632. He settled in Fairfield, CT in 1649. He was a sergeant in 1657.

[NI17698] Will 18 Mar 1786. Lived in British provinces, then removed to Wellfleet, MA, according to tradition. His house was east of Gull Pond, not far from the neck that divides the ponds. Held various offices & was quite prominent in business affairs. In will he remembers hish Rich. His grandson, Hincks, is to receive certain articles, including his great chair & Bible.
