The Moore family that I am a part of has spread widely over the last three generations. My father always prefers to think of his mother's family, the Austing family, as his and so we know quite a lot about them. His step-father came with the Moore name and there are lots of details known there as well.

My mother is German and at present I don't have too much about her family, the Bertholds, before her generation.

This section is developing that knowledge and subsidiary pages hold or will hold collections of old photos, family trees and all sorts of information as well as links to the sites of other relatives.

For the time being, the only pages that are ready are:

Austing's, Moore's, Gough's and Glenister's

There were six Austing daughters, one of which was my grandmother, who survived to adulthood. One married William Devoy and had no children. One married a Gough and had two sons. One married a Glenister and had two daughters. One married Frank Moore and when she died he married her sister, my grandmother and the last one I don't know anything about at all, yet.

Here is a collection of photos and all the information I have on these as well as links to other family members' sites.

This part of the site is subject to continuous update and addition as it is the subject of ongoing research. So little is known at present that there is plenty to find out.

This is a collection of old (1915 to 1925) photos collected by my great- aunt Florence Devoy. I don't know who they all are and want some more information from you. Email me if you know some details. Thanks.


After that I will have another collection of similarly old photos from our family albums, but these are mostly identified.

Not much here at present. Cousin Jack, in Australia, has personal details and some family background.
