This page is UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!

Welcome to my southern home page. Y'all come on in! I am a genuine native Floridian, born and raised in Florida. My ancestors, the Braddocks, Higginbothams, Picketts, and Pons have lived here since Florida was a territory, before it became a state on March 3, 1845. Many of these family genealogies were researched by my mother, Helen B. Hodges, through the years, and I have added the new generations to them. This project has taken years, but my goal has been to publish them on the web, to help you with your family research and to be preserved for future generations. This material is not to be used for profit. I ask that when you use it, quote the source as:

Florida - Our Past and Our Future

Just as the beautiful old Spanish live oak trees have done, these hardy pioneer families roots have spread and grown very deep into the sands of time in northeast Florida and beyond, and they are still surviving here today in our southern heritage, God's Country. See my home page links below for MORE southern family genealogies.
