Hello, I'm Jennifer Crossmousie, the principal of this school. I hope you decide to enroll your child here. I have worked very hard to provide a good environment and education. I opened this school since, as a parent of two girls in high school I have found it extremely difficult to find good, well-run schools. Most are poorly run and operated, or if they are well-run, usually they are for younger students.
School is out for the summer! Please register for next year!
We have three new sister schools! They are Sister Elyse St. Mouse Middle School, St. Johnmouse's Elementary School, and Our Lady of Mt. Mouse Preschool. Please enroll your younger mice there. Hopefully we will also have a sister college. Coem back soon to see it!
Summer Camps
We will be having swimming camps, day camps, volleyball camps and basketball camps. All children ages 5-18 can attend. We hope you decide to send your child to Pope Mouse III Camps!
Dress Code
We have uniforms! Every day your child must wear one, except on tag days when your child can wear his/her own clothes.
Homework/Grading System
Every few weeks I will send home your child's backpack. Click on it to visit the classroom and see what work needs to be completed. Everyone will receive an A as long as the papers are in on time, complete and correct. Please mail them to me, I will get them to the teachers. If you are unsure of the answers or information you need to complete your work, click on the teacher's desk. Example:
10th Grade:
History: Short report on a historical figure in the Revolutionary War (minium 2 sentences)
Math: What does pi stand for in geometry or define radius
Language: How do you say hello in the language you are studying?
English: Define an English term (adjective, noun, predicate)
Science: No homework
Or, if you are visiting the school, you can click on the bulletin board to find out the homework. Are you all clear? If not, call me and I will answer your question. If you are getting a webpage, you can sign up your mouse, but if your webpage is not completed in one month than your mouse will be removed from our class lists. All clear?
Mice can enter their lockers by clicking on it and then selecting their code. You will recive a locker code once you enroll. You will also receive a planner.
Pope Mouse III High has an system where you can get an email at yourmousename@PopeMouseIII.zzn.com! We ask that all students get one, because that is the email at which other students and teachers will contact you. When you are getting your address, enter your mouse's information so that zzn.com has no records of you. Mail us your new email. Thanks!
The Italian Summer Language Class will be going to Rome, Italy for five days this July. Please post an ad in the forum if you are taking Italian and would like to go. If you are not taking Italian, you can still go-just be prepared for a language barrier.
We have had some students who have been causing trouble or having emotional problems, so we hired a guidance counselor and we hope that our troubled students will visit her. If a student acts up or gives ateacher trouble they will be sent to the guidance counselor, but she is also there to help.
We recently opened our Forum! Please post your ideas and thoughts-we hope you would use it!
If you dislike driving your mouse to school every day, we have a solution. Bus transportation! There will be a bus for each district. If you would like your mouse to take the bus, please call me. Then take the "I Ride A Mouse City Bus" logo. If for some reason your mouse will not be taking the bus that day, you must write a note, telling how your mouse will get home.
You also have to write a note if your mouse will be late or absent, telling why. Please use this, or otherwise the administration will wonder what happened to your child!
The Hall
Look! We have new uniforms, made by Christiane Trenna Mouselin. She has her own clothing company-you can order custom-made clothes! Please, all students take one. Once we have boy students I will get a boy uniform. We also have new logos! Please take one if you are student. Enjoy!
