Subject: Lorenzo Sims 1860 census
Searching for Lorenzo Sims. I have very little
information on Lorenzo Sims. He had at least two
daughters one of which was Martha Sims born June 20,
1838 in Jackson Co. GA. She married Matthew
Landers/Landress Aug. 6, 1856 in Walton Co. GA.
Martha died 1914 in Gwinnett Co. GA. His other known
daughter is Permelia Sims. She married Thomas Landers
(brother to Matthew) April 24, 1858 in Walton Co. GA.
In the 1860 census of Walton Co. GA Permelia and
Thomas were living with Lorenzo Sims. Any information
would be appreciated.

in the archives of posts and have put up a web page

I wonder who you are. I have a chart on that page
showing who I am. If you give me the same info, I
will add you. Do you have a web page? a database?
I have never input my Sims kin further afield than
my 1st cousins (since I started input about 1990).
Prior to that I charted my dad's dad's family on
mylar. I did not do much with Sims. Most of our
photos were lost when my great uncles' home was
destroyed when the last one (Weldon Green) died.
Do you know any more interested descendants of
Lorenzo Dow Sims that have an email address, other
than David E. Sims?
I will close with that to keep from boring & to
save time, besides your email address may have gone
bad in which case this will never reach you & I
will be wasting time.

Martha married Matthew Landress Aug. 6, 1856 Walton Co.GA.
Martha son Eli F.was born in GA.
My grandfather Henry was born in TX.
My Dad and I were born in OK.
I've not done a lot of research on the Sims.
Most of my research has been on the Landers/Landress
side. So David Sims is the first one I've come across
that has provided any information on the Sims.
Appreciate you adding me to your page.
