The newest book about the Ragsdales is being produced by
William C. "Bill" Ragsdale

Check with him before sending money though. He produced the first edition
(200+ pages including appendices and photos) for $20.00 but he printed the
number based on advance orders and he may not have any left. He is working on
the second edition though so this would be a good time to let him know if you
want a copy of it. He and his wife, Ruthe, visited historical Ragsdale sites
in England and his book contains photos of those areas.
The book containing Mrs. Van Leer's work is available from June Hart Wester,
133 Mountain Crest Dr., Canton, GA 30114-8724. The cost is $18.50 postpaid.
Only a few copies are left so hurry. This book has been regarded as a major
Ragsdale resource and is now going out of print.
Another book may still be available. The author doesn't participate in the
newsletter and doesn't keep me informed. Last I heard the book was available
for $15.00 from Mary Skelton Carpenter, 201 Smith St., Hartwell, GA 30643.

A book about my Ragsdale branch may still be available. It is titled
"Hezekiah Ragsdale: His Roots and Branches" by Ray W. Ragsdale. Rev. Ragsdale
is deceased but copies may still be available from his brother Carl Ragsdale,
2604 First Avenue, Evansville, Indiana 47710.
