Well, Mom gave me this diary today. It's so pretty and I really like it. In here pesky Annelies can't get to my thoughts. Anyway, Mom's right about my love of writing-I love to write poems and stories. Some have been published!
Anyway, today Annelies insisted on going to see the Backstreet Mice at the Mega Mouse Mall. She loves them! I didn't like them until Millennium came out. I Want It The Cheezy Way is good, but Don't Want to Cheese You Now, #7, is really my favorite.
Little Jackie is so cute! She loves going to school so much! I wish I loved school as much as her.

Well, I'm pretty thrilled! Mom opened her school, Pope Mouse III High, today.
My friend Brittany Mousenagle is going to go there too next year-and we're both trying out for the basketball team. I love summer! I mean, school's okay, but summer is great! I didn't go to school anywhere this year (homeschooling), but I love the weather and my friends and I can spend more time together. Annelies, of course, loved the big Cheddar Cheese High, where there was a cheerleading squad. She complains all of the time. Oh well. I have to stop obsessing about her!

Guess what! Our basketball team got six new members! My friend Tara, Keiki Mouse, Marissa Mouse, Kyle Mouse (she's a girl), Jennifer Nicole Mouse, and Shawna Mouse. We can have a real basketball team! Annelies was jumping out of her skin this morning, because Anna Lockmouse and Misti Mouse joined the cheerleading squad. I'm still the only one on field hockey and Brittany's the only one on track, so I might join track instead-you can't play singles field hockey (at least I don't think so). Also, five of the Mouse girls formed a volleyball team, and Keiki formed swimming with Dela Cheddar. That might be pretty cool, don't you think? I might join swimming as a summer sport.

Today Mom is going to take me to the mall for my birthday-a little belated, wouldn't you say? I want to get Cheezy Millennium by the Backstreet Mice and Never Say Cheese by Brandymouse. This is the first time Mom has offered to buy me two CDs in my life!

Tara called this morning-my old friend Mandi Callmouse is coming here for a visit! Tara, Brittany, me and Mandi were sort of a group before Tara, Brittany and I moved here. I asked Mom why we moved here, and she said she wants us growing up in the country and not the city. I can't wait to see Mandi! She's staying for a week.
Oh, guess what-I have a new boyfriend! His name is Brad Mousington. He's in the band N'Control and loves music, like I do.

My friend Christiane and I are going to the mall today! (I know I go to the mall a lot, but where else can we go?) I was thinking about after that going to my mom's ice cream shop and bowling alley. That would be fun. My mom won't be there, but I'll get free ice cream and bowling games. I was thinking about taking Christiane to Mouse & Body Works. I love that store-they sell such nice fragrances!

Today Mom's youngest sister (21 years old, 18 years younger, second marriage), Aunt Julianne, came to our house. She's getting married to a guy named Matt Baimouse, and they're having their wedding in Californiamouse on August 28th, so Mom and Julianne are in a frenzy trying to get the wedding together. They have two months, so I don't see what they're so worried about. Mom says they have nothing, not a wedding gown or bridesmaids' dresses or tuxedos or a hall or flowers or food.....or anything. But what's great is that my whole family is part of the bridal party (everyone except the twins, that is). Mom's the Maid of Honor, Annie and I are bridesmaids, and Jackie and Julie are flower girls. I'm excited, but Mom has no time to care for Jackie, Julie and the twins, so I'm left taking care of them with no help from Annelies. She's out with her friends now. I love the four little mice, but I don't know how Mom does it every day.

The SMP is great. The kids are really cute. Tara & Brad work there too. The only problem is that the kids tease Jackie because Annelies and I are there. They say that she's a baby and has to be taken care of by her sisters. Why are kids so mean? I really like having Tara around. And Anna, too! Annelies has stopped the flying comments and spends all of her time with Anna. Some counselors they are! I'm having a great time, though, and I want to do this every year. Well, I have to go now. Today is the Fourth of July, and to me the best day of the year! Today I'm going to the 4th of July Garden Club picnic, because Brad's playing the songs. I'm sure I'll have a great time, I know it. I like Violet a lot, and she'll be there. I'm not dressing really patriotic, just a blue shirt and jean shorts. Anyway, tonight Mom's taking us to the local MouseBluejays baseball game, and Tara's family is coming too! I love the game, but then afterwards there's festivities like wrestling and so on, but afterwards there's fireworks! When I was little I used to hide under my seat for fear
a spark would hit me. Tell me that isn't ridiculous. Tara and I are really excited. We've loved this since we were little. Every year we go together. Let me see.....if I'm 16 now, and we've been going since I was three (that's when we were adopted-we were adopted the same year, isn't that cool?), then it's been thirteen years. Tara loved the fireworks, but she would sit with me under the seat. We also go to the fair together, and the last couple of years we've gone on our own. Our moms would drop us off. But this year we can drive! I'm hoping to invite my other friends, Christiane, Anastasia, Brittany , Keiki and Dela this year to the fair. Maybe we can do that.....well, I'm going to go get ready for the picnic. I love the 4th of July!

Wow, I haven't written in the longest time! 20 days to be exact. I guess thta's because my life has gone upside down lately. First off, we're moving to Italy, away from all of my friends and my life. Second, I've been trying to contact my friends about the move and then getting together, but I haven't received any responses. Third, my life as a normal American teenager will be destroyed! I don't even speak Italian. How am I supposed to get around over there? Mom can't even speak it, she just knows enough to go shopping. We're moving to Bergamo or Lago de Como to be exact. Both are outside of Milan. Mom's also looking into Monza, but we doubt that we'll move there. Bergamo or Lago de Como (Lake of Como). Thye both are beautiful spots, but I want America. I love America, and America is my home. I was just hoping that I could finish out my school years here. 2 lousy years, and we couldn't even stay. I'm going to college here in America though, that way I can come home. Annelies has agreed with me that she isn't going to college over there. First thing we've agreed on in all the time she's been here. Well, enough talk about that. It makes me sad. We're all out of SMP, we juts can't do it with all the moving. I'm watching Jackie & Julie, while Mom's taking the twins for their shots. Jackie's reading her favorite book, A Promise is a Promise. It's a Minniemouse Friendship book. Julie's watching Maizy on Nickelmouse. She's a mouse who is basically primitive. Julie loves it though. Annelies is out with who-knows-who at who-knows-where. I don't bother asking her where she going or who she's going with anymore. I'd just get myself in big trouble. I'm going to go try to e-mail my friends again. I don't think any of them got my email! Dela, Christiane, Keiki, Brittany, Tara, and Anastasia. I didn't even email Brittany and Tara because it was their idea to have this outing. I'm going to try Christiane, Keiki, Dela and Anastasia again. Bye!

TARA MOVED BACK! She moved to Paris a few weeks ago, and her family got homesick and moved back! They'll be moving to Italy with us after New Year's (if that happens)! I am SO thrilled! I missed my best friend. I don't know what I did without her. Well, I ran up Mom's phone bill, that's for sure! Oh, guess what! I got a job as a ticket seller for the mall theater! I haven't started yet, I'll start on Friday. It should be cool, though, since Celine started working in the Poster Store and Violet with me in the movie theater. It should be nice. I'm excited. I'm going to go see Tara now, bye!

It's so nice having Tara back. Annelies and I are going with her family to the Bahamas on the 16th! Isn't that cool? Then we're going to fly out to California on the 21st and stay until the 24th. That will be some vacation schedule! I'm bringing my laptop so I can still keep in touch. Oh, guess what! Mom adopted a new little girl, Mairerose Alyce. She's five, like Jackie. Hey, there's seven of us now! Too many when you're the resident babysitter! Mom also took Annelies, Jackie, Mairerose & I school shopping today. Annelies and I have decided to share all of the clothes. You know, she's really different since when she first came. She's like my best friend. I love her a lot. I think it was a stage she went through. We're so much alike now. I really love having her around. We each have our own backpacks but we're sharing the clothes. She's only 2 years younger, and after 14 you don't grow too much. We got these great new overalls and these cool sweaters. BSM sweaters. I get a discount at the mall. Mom took Jackie & Mairerose to Dalia's Fashion Shop. They have some cute kids' stuff. Their teen stuff is not for me. And guess what! You know Wynonna Mousington, Brad's sister? She's Mairerose's sister! Isn't that cool? I'm BC #35, Annelies is #36, Jackie is #37, Mairerose is #38, Julie is #39, and the twins are #40. My mom is trying to find a place to search for our brothers and sisters, but I don't really care. I know that I have a younger sister somewhere, and some other siblings, but each time one of us was born we were sent to the orphanage. Annelies has a brother somewhere (her mom didn't want kids), and Julie ended up on the orpahange doorstep. Jackie was born to a teenage mother, and the twins' parentage is a secret that we're not told. Anyway. I don't want to meet my real family. Jennifer Crossmousie is my mom now. Annelies, Jackie, Mairerose, Julie, Sarah and Casondra are my sisters. I don't need a mom who left me. Not at all.

I have Dela's party in 6 days, and I have no idea what to give her! I can't get her anything at the mall, she works there. She could get anything she wanted. Now what? I want to give her something special, but I can't think! Help!

I have Dela's party in two days now! I have no gift ideas! I'm going to email her. I'll have to think about it. Maybe I'll give her a card with a certificate to a restaurant and a movie, my treat. Maybe. Oh, I don't know! Anastasia and I have been corresponding, she's dumped Brett. He hasn't replied to her emails for nearly a month now, and that is pathetic. He hasn't even replied to her email abotu dumping him! Poor Anastasia. Anyway, today Mom told me I have to take Jackie & Mairerose to the Lockmouses' pool today. I've passed my lifeguarding test but there's no public pool to lifeguard. Tara passed the test with me. Annelies and Anna aren't bad swimmers, but I wouldn't trust them with Jackie & Mairerose. Oh, guess what! Annelies moved out of my room. She has her own "hippie" room. It's pretty cool, but I wouldn't decorate like that. I'm going to redo my room. Mom and I are going shopping today for all new stuff. She says I get to because it's not fair that Annelies gets a whole new room and I don't get anything. I don't know how I'm going to do it though....

The Bahamas was great! Tara & I had so much fun. Celine & Fern went to the Bahamas. Sorry, I forget to mention Celine & Fern. Annelies & Anna came too. I am so dark!!! I tan pretty okay but after all that intense sun I look brown! My hair has also really lightened. I have blondish streaks that are natural. Annelies does too. It's sorta weird, knowing that Chessiana and Annelies are my sisters. Sure, Chessiana's great, but she feels more like a friend than a sister since I don't live with her and I haven't known her very long. Anyway. I think I'll get used to it.

Tomorrow is Aunt Julianne's rescheduled wedding, so I'll miss teh first day of school. Dela, Fern, Celine, Anastasia and Tara are coming.
I made a new friend! Her name is Kayla Mouis and she's 15 like Dela and Anastasia. I don't mind. Violet's Brad's age, 17. I like having friends of different ages.
I have a locker at school now. Locker #102. Tara's #100. Tara got us both these cool locker erasabel notepads or something. I don't know. I found a whole bunch of new stickers and I did my locker in blue and green. My room is blue and green too. Blue & green bubble wallpaper, blue bed, blue beanbag chairs, huge blue stuffed dog. Mom and I are still looking for stuff.
I'm sort of excited about school starting. Not about papers and homework, but seeing my friends again. I want 3/4 sleeve shirts but I can't find any anywhere!
The Cheese Schools district is opening a new school, Cheddar Ridge Preschool. Mom signed up Matt, Nicky and Julie. Oh yeah, Matt & Nicky are the new ones in the family. Matthew James is 4 and Nicholas Michael is 2. They're cute. Oh yeah, Mom is opening a college with Liz Squeaky, Rebbecca Lockmouse and Julie Cheddar. A Cheese Schools college. I'm going to go there if it works. I have to go pack up for the wedding. Cya!

Nothing much happened today. It was the first day of school for me, and pretty fun. Aunt Julianne's wedding was cool too. I didn't even recognize myself the way they had me done up! I like myself much better natural though. I don't wear any makeup at all except for maybe some lip gloss. School was fine, I'm used to the routine anyways. Class after class after class. No tecaher is really great, no class is really great. My favorite subject is Math though and I'm pretty good. I am a straight-A student, but actually I guess you would call me a straight-A+ student because I get 97s and above. Annelies is a straight-A student, 93s and above. Pretty good. Mom says she is not adopting ANY more kids whatsoever. I'm gald, because 9 is enough. Plenty enough. More than enough. g2g,

P.S. I'm going to start spending a lot less time on the computer now that school's started. I mean I'll only check my email like twice a week. I'm becoming a computer nut and that isn't good.

I have a ton of homework this weekend. I swear that once I'm finished with school I'm going to have back problems. In third grade they start filling up your backpack with textbooks. No more worksheets, now it's bookwork and that's a lot heavier than a piece of paper. Jackie & Mairerose are so lucky, they bring home little worksheets or crafts. At most their backpacks weigh 1 pound! Mine has to weigh 30 or 40. Actually this isn't nearly as bad as seventh grade, when I dragged around 40 pounds-and I only weighed 70! More than half my weight. My back is already sort of bent and sometimes it just kills. I'm getting old like my mom! She's how old? Forty-five? I'm sixteen! I'm going to go see a chirpractor someday, though I doubt it will work because I don't believe in those kind of fake procedures. Annelies & I bought heating pads and put them on our backs every night while we watch TV.
Enough of this talk, it's making my back kill again. Aunt Julianne is pregnant! She's a couple days pregnant (with mice a couple of days is like human months in development). The baby is assumed to be a girl and will be named Mariel Amalie or Amalie Anne. I like Amalie Anne, but I think Julianne is leaning towards Mariel Amalie. That's a beautiful name too, so I don't mind. I remember when Mom was trying to name Jackie, and she had picked Jacqueline Alexis and Annisa Alyse. I loved Jacqueline Alexis but Mom was starting to think about Annisa Alyse. Finally Mom just said aloud once, "She's a Jackie" and the name was decided. Mom adopted Jackie when Jackie was not even three months old and nameless. Until Mom chose "Jackie" she just called Jackie "Sweetie" but Mom decided on a name only three days after Jackie came to live with us. I like my name very much. "Alessandra Nicole Crossmousie." Mom named me. Mom named all of us. Even though I was three when I was adopted. Then Annelies, when I was five. Then Jackie when I was eleven, then Julie when I was thirteen, the twins just five months ago, Mairerose just over a month ago, and Matt & Nicky brand new. So it was only four of us until this year. I love all of the new little ones, but I miss.....well, never mind. Mom isn't returning the new adoptees and I love them so I wouldn't want her to. Anyway.
I read The Royal Diaries: Elizabeth I :Red Rose of the House of Tudor. I got up early this morning and read for an hour to finish it, and now I'm writing. It's definitely below my level, but I loved it. You can really identify with Elizabeth. She's a great character.
Tara & I chat on IM very often. I'm allye528 and she's tara823. We decided to use our names/nicknames and birthdays. I'm May 28 and she's August 23. Sometimes Annelies will go on Mom's laptop and hook it up to teh main phone line and we'll chat with her too. She's annelies816. Anna hooks up their laptop to the main phone line and joins us whenever Annelies comes. She's anna113.
Wow, this is a long entry. Longest ever. I went to billboardradio.com and listened to the Countdown yesterday. I like Bailamouse by Enrique Iglemouse, Mouse in a Bottle by Christina Cheesilera, Uncheese by TLMouse, All Mouse by Smash Mouse, Black Ballocheese by The Goo Goo Mice and I DoMouse by 98 Mouse. I'm really depressed. Today Mom received a message from the Vikimouse orphanage. Matt & Nicky's mom wants them back. Mom hasn't fully adopted them yet because adoption takes months to finalize.
Matt & Nicky don't want to go back, but they have to. There's nothing we can do. Mom's sending them each with a personalized trunk full of new clothes, games and toys to remember her by. Their mother is really a ditz and we're worried how they will grow up. I love those two and don't want them to go.
The twins and Mairerose aren't fully adopted either and Mom's worried about them too. Not Mairerose really, her father is an alcoholic and would not want children. Her mother disappeared years ago. But Mom is worried about the twins. Now that the the twins' mother heard about Matt & Nicky going back to their mother she's thinking about taking our little Sarah Marie & Casondra Anne. It's all because of Matt & Nicky's mother that four Crossmousies are leaving! There's only going to be five of us now. Well, the twins' mother isn't positive yet.
Oh no! I just heard Mom scream, "No! Not my babies!" I guess the twins are going back too. Excuse the teardrops on this page, I know it's soaked and the ink is blotting all over. But I don't care. I'm going to go play with the little ones that are leaving. Oh, God, help please!
