Have Homestead record from National Archives. Lists Andrew J. Coots as 36 P.O. McPhearson. Born in Alabama. Established residence on land 2-9-1892. . He applied but was rejected because he didn't prove residency. He then reapplied 11-27-1897. He had witnesses John Wolfer and S.V. Cortis from McPhearson, AR and Allen Horn and John Coots from Lone Oak.

Notes for IDA PEARL COOTS:

Ida was liscensed to preach in the Church of God. Ida Coots lived close to the Caseys' when Isabel was small about 1920's.
When Ida divorced Lawrence in 1933 or so she put all of the kids except Isabel in an orphanage. Lotti ran away after one year and went to Leonard and Isabels.

Lawrence lived with Ruth for 8 years before he married her in Bellville, IL.

Worked as a security gaurd in IL. Died in a sanitarium in Little Rock, AR.
