When I was younger, I wasn't really given the opportunity to do much travel (family holidays always
took place either in this country, or at best in France *sigh*). Perhaps that now explains why I have,
for the last five years or so, had a strange urge to do as much travelling as is humanly possible.
In the last few years I have been lucky enough to "escape" to many different countries, and
consequently I have been able to experience many different cultures. Am I finished travelling
yet ? The answer to that is simple, NOT NEARLY ! I still have loads of places to see, and
can't wait for the opportunity to do so. Afterall, nothing beats a sandy beach, palm
trees and a tropical drink now does it ?

Of course not all places that I have been to have been nice, but as the saying goes, you
have to take the bad to appreciate the good, and I firmly believe in that. In saying
that though, most holidays I've been on have been thoroughly worthwhile
and I've enjoyed every minute of them :)
