Sorry to be so slow but the realty of five children is very demanding. Not mention problem servers.
Now, Let's get down to business. The photo copy I have of this obituary came along with the photo copies of Rev. A.R. Banks' bible pages. I haven't had the time to compare them with Janet's, but I'm looking forward to some late night reading. As for the obituary, It is illegible along the left side in places and various other spots. I will refrain from adding any thing that is not clear so that maybe any one of you could help fill in the blanks,

OBITUARY
Ephraim F. Banks died at
Greggs Hospital, Sept. 5, 1862, of a
___ receivedat the battle of Manas-
______ the Friday preceding. He was
______ber of the Co. F, 12th Regt. S. V.
____ in the full enjoyment of the
___ 's blessed hope.--Aged 17 yrs.

John W. Banks was killed in the
______Sharpsburg, Maryland, on the
____8_ '62, being his birthday aged
____ years. He was a member of ___

__antly, pierced by a ball through the

Both these young men were the old
___s__ns of Dorcas and the late Samuel
Banks, Esq., of Little river, Fairfield.
They are gone to the grave but we will
