James:
To reply to your question about my grandfather he moved from
Blackburn England when he was 16 because his mother and father divorced.
They came to Toronto, Canada where his mother remarried a man named
Sargent. Problem is their are no documents to say he is adopted , so the
only thing the Canadian government can figure is that he took on the
name when they got married and no papers were filed. complicated!!!! All
records about the Hargraves name are a mystery because my grandfather
was so young when they moved and nobody in the family ever questioned
the Hargraves name so it remains a BIG mystery. I only know my
grandmothers maiden name was Tudor. So I am very hopeful that I can dig
enough into the past to find out who my ancestors are. Pretty complex
eh!!!!
