They came to Toronto, Canada where his mother remarried a man named Sargent. Problem is their are no documents to say he is adopted , so the only thing the Canadian government can figure is that he took on the name when they got married and no papers were filed. complicated!!!! All records about the Hargraves name are a mystery because my grandfather was so young when they moved and nobody in the family ever questioned the Hargraves name so it remains a BIG mystery. I only know my grandmothers maiden name was Tudor. So I am very hopeful that I can dig enough into the past to find out who my ancestors are. Pretty complex eh!!!! Ruth Sargent
