The pages are numbered 1-342. There are 4 printed pages prior to page 1. With the book shut, one can measure the pages. They are 8.5 x 11". The book is printed on both sides of each sheet. There are many photos. In the back of the book is a single page (page 342) that is the table of the contents but is labeled "INDEX". There is no index. Indexes are alphabetical. Tables of Contents are lists of the contents (e.g. chapters) in the order in which they appear in the book.
