This page is in the memory of "Screamer"
my beloved Shaded Silver Persian cat that I raised from a kitten.
He was nicknamed Screamer because he was the loudest in the group
of kittens. He was 15 years old when he passed away from old age.
He was a big part of my children's growing up years. He will be
missed by all.
Life was rather empty
without a cat, so my daughter Tam brought a little black &
white kitten over one day, we now have a new cat. A cat is a
friend that will never betray you. Cats leave footprints on our
hearts and we will never be the same. Cats are made for people to
love and care for.
What do cats dream of? Maybe of bitting
their human's feet while they are working on the computer OR
maybe of the bird that is just a few feet away. Ever watched a
cat sleep? There little feet are just jumping, (running after
that rabbit, maybe that bird)-what do cats dream of ?
Ya, this is the life of my cat. She is
into everything but we love her anyway. She has the run of the
house. She gets up in the morning and wonders thru the house to
make sure that I did not change anything during the nite.
Everything has to be in it's place or she will let me know. I
received a magnet to put up and it said "This house is owned
& operated solely for the comfort & convenience of the
CAT ! How true this is. (Thanks Tam).
What did you say, "NO FOOD".
Cats love and protect their food. When a cat is happy and purrs,
it is the rumble of peace in the animal kingdom, also you could
say, it is their automatic safety valve to happiness.
Cats favorite pass time, cleaning
themselves. Just had a bath MMMM, something smells good, must be
me! Ever woke up with sandpaper kisses on the cheek or chin? That
is the way for a day to begin.
Remember when a cat is purring it is the
sounds of a cat manufacturing cutness. "Of Gods creatures,
there is only one that cannot be made the slave on a leash"
That one is the "CAT". We cannot without becoming cats,
perfectly understand the cat mind.
