When we talk about "tea" we don't just mean the drink. 
we mean a meal as well. 
Here is a collection of recipies. There will be more added. 
 

Scottish Shortbread

2/3 cup sugar
2 sticks Butter
2 cups flour

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix sugar & butter until creamy then add flour.
Knead for a long time!
Shape dough to an inch thick.
Cut in triangles, rectangles or else & prick with a fork.
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 15 to 20 minutes.
 

Apple Crumble

6 apples
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice
1 stick butter

Preheat oven at 375 degrees
Peel and core apples. Add sugar & mix with apples
Place in greased baking pan.

Combine oats, flour, sugar & brown sugar.
Add salt, cinnamon, nutmeg & allspice
Add the butter cut in little pieces
Spread the mix (crumbles) over the apples.
Bake 45 minutes.
 
 

Bread & Butter Pudding

7 slices bread
Soft butter
4 c. milk
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Butter a medium baking dish.
Spread butter generously on one side of each slice of bread.
Line bottom and sides of baking dish with buttered bread.
Mix milk, eggs, sugar, salt, cinnamon, pour over bread.
Place extra pieces of buttered bread on top, press down to submerge.
Let stand 10 mins or more if bread is very dry.
Bake, cover for 30 minutes, then uncover for 30 minutes.
Serve warm.
