Hello I live in New Zealand.
New Zealand is located in the south Pacific, it is an island nation. If you are not sure of geography, sorry but it is not part of Australia, and it is not located at the bottom of Australia.
Most cities/towns in New Zealand are located on the coast or near the sea.
New Zealand is the first country in the world to see the new sun/day. If you are American/Canadian we are 18-23 hours ahead of you in time. :-)
I have five children, and am happily married to my husband Lindsay.
My hobbies are church, cross stitch, crafts, reading, cooking,gardening and I love teddy bears.

    FRIENDS WITHOUT FACES
    ~*~*~
    We sit and we type, and we stare at our screens We all have to
    wonder, what this possibly means. With our mouse we roam,
    through the rooms in a maze Looking for something or someone, as
    we sit in a daze. We chat with each other, we type all our woes Small
    groups we do form, and gang up on our foes. We wait for
    somebody, to type out our name We want recognition, but it is
    always the same. We give kisses and hugs, and sometimes flirt In
    IMs we chat deeply, and reveal why we hurt. We do form
    friendships - but - why we don't know But some of these friendships,
    will flourish and grow. Why is it on screen, we can be so bold Telling
    our secrets, that have never been told. Why is it we share, the
    thoughts in our mind With those we can't see, as though we were
    blind. The answer is simple, it is as clear as a bell. We all have our
    problems, and need someone to tell. We can't tell real people, but tell
    someone we must So we turn to the 'puter, and to those we can
    trust. Even though it is crazy, the truth still remains They are
    Friends Without Faces, and odd little names.

The Footsteps Poem
One night a man had a dream
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life
For each scene, he noticed two sets of foot prints in the sand;
one belonging to him and the other to the Lord
W hen the last scene of his life flashed before him
he looked back at the footprints in the sand
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
There were only one set of footprints
He also noticed that it happened
at the very lowest and saddest times in his life

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it
"Lord you said that once I decided to follow you
You would walk with me all the way
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life
There is only one set of footprints
I don't understand why when I needed you most
you would leave me"

The Lord replied.
"My precious precious child I love you
and I would never leave you
During your times of trial and suffering
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."
