PRAYER IN HONOR OF SAINT DYMPHNA
Lord, our God,
you graciously chose Saint
Dymphna
as patroness of those
afflicted with mental and nervous disorders.
She is thus an inspiration
and a symbol of charity
to the thousands who ask her
intercession.
Please grant, Lord,
through the prayers of this
pure youthful martyr,
relief and consolation to
all suffering such trials,
and especially those for
whom I pray
(Patrick Bridges).
I beg You, Lord,
to hear the prayers of Saint
Dymphna on his behalf.
Grant him,
patience in his sufferings
and resignation to Your Divine Will.
Please fill him with hope,
and grant him the relief and
cure he so much desires.
I ask this through Christ
our Lord
who suffered agony in the
garden.
Amen.

said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my
heart
Although He spoke no word.
I didn't ask for wealth or
fame,
I knew you wouldn't mind.
I asked Him to send
treasures
Of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He'd be near
you
At the start of each new day.
To grant you health and
blessings,
And friends to share your
way.
I asked for happiness for
you,
In all things great and
small.
But it was for His Loving
Care,
I prayed the most of all.
